Best of all,

This model also charges quickly, which I appreciated. The maximum speed of 8 miles per hour is ideal for children while still being high enough for adults to enjoy.

Swagtron makes fantastic children’s scooters. In reality, they make excellent technology toys for adults as well.

Many people consider this to be Swagtron’s best hoverboard yet.

Swagtron T1 Hoverboard Review

Swagtron, originally Swagway, is a sporting equipment company based in the United States. Swagtron is one of the brands that has seen the hoverboard rise, fall, and rise again.

Swagtron is the inventor of the UL-certified hoverboard. Swagtron launched the first-ever UL 2272-certified secure hoverboard, the  Swagtron T1, on the market on May 31, 2016.

Key Features:

  • Materials:
The ‘T1′ is made of a fire-resistant ABS outer body case that is rugged and sturdy. It also reduces the likelihood of scratching and potential damage to the smart scooter’s exterior body.

  • Wheels:
Swagtron T1 has two wheels, both of which are made of aluminum and have rubber Tyres on them. Rubber Tyres provide more grip and reduce sliding. More hoverboard sizes can be found here.

  • Training mode:

Another useful feature of this smart scooter, particularly for new riders, is the training mode. In training mode, the board provides the trainee with more balance and less pace so that he can learn to ride while remaining balanced on the board.

After completing this training, a rider would be able to ride at full  speed without falling

  • Battery:
The hoverboard is powered by a 36V/4.4AH lithium battery system,  which is the safest on the market. You can travel for 7-12 miles on a  single charge of the battery. It takes one hour to fully charge.

  • Motor:
The motor on this self-balancing scooter is 3000 Watts. This motor is powered by a 36V/4.4 AH lithium battery. This motor allows a rider to reach speeds of up to 8 mph!

Furthermore, When gliding downhill and riding at peak speed, this engine,  combined with gear stabilization, provides greater traction.

  • LED lights:
The board has two LED light panels fixed on it. The upp All Poster panel lights will indicate your battery level, while the side panel lights will identify you to wayfarers and automobiles.

When a teenager drives with these LED lights turned on, it makes him or her happy.

  • Gyroscope Technology:
The self-balancing hoverboard also has gyroscopic technology, which makes it simple to use, and manage, and ensures that the riders have a  smooth start and stop.

  • Foot Pads:
This board’s left and right footpads are both sturdy and nonslip. These pads have a smooth grip that allows a rider to maintain power,  balance, and stability when riding.

  • Safety and durability:

The Swagtron t1 is one of the safest self-balancing scooters available.  It has the UL 2271 safety certification. The strong architecture and premium materials ensure that the riders have a comfortable journey.

The hoverboard’s outer shell is made of a sturdy and rugged ABS case that is both fire-retardant and scratch-resistant. Sentry Shield is built into the battery, providing several layers of battery protection and safety.

Smart Battery Management System is also included with the battery (BMS). Overcharging, overvoltage, overcurrent flow, and over-temperature of the battery are all monitored by this BMS.

It also protects against short circuits. Furthermore, If the secure stopping technology detects a technical problem within the battery, it will warn you to safely exit the board.

  • Braking System:

One of the best features of this hoverboard is its braking system. On the Swagtron T1, it’s easy to just stop and go. With this board, even novice riders can quickly learn how to control acceleration and braking.

Why did we choose this product?

Along with excellent performance and safety features, the swagtron t1 has a great weight cap of 220 pounds (100 kilograms), making it suitable for both children and adults. Since there is a training mode, kids and beginners can enjoy their hoverboarding experience from the very first day.

What Should You Consider Before Buying a Swagtron T1 Hoverboard?

  • Weight:
If you’re a big guy, the hoverboards, which can hold up to 300 pounds,  are the way to go. The majority of regular items will support nearly  220 pounds of weight.

However, there are still some heavier-duty goods on the market with hefty price tags.

  • Speed:
Another highly desired factor is speed. Why not be, after all, you just want pace. Although hoverboards with speeds ranging from 6 to 15  mph are available, those with speeds greater than 10 mph are classified as high-speed zone items.

These are suitable for both experienced riders and those who are just learning to ride. Swagtron, Powerboard, and razor Hovertrax are far better options for new or indoor riders. Riding at 6 mph while a few inches above the ground is like running against the sky.

They perform admirably, and in some cases even better, outside and on hilly terrains.

  • Range:
The range of your hoverboard refers to how far it will go nonstop on a  fully charged battery. This is usually between 7 and 15 miles.

For all the frolic and fun, this selection is considered adequate.  However, it is possible that it would spread to the costliest labels.

  • Charging time:

It’s worth noting that charging times vary between brands, with the better ones usually taking less time.

If you have something planned for your next day trip, you should get your hoverboard ready ahead of time because it will take 2 to 2.5 hours to fill up the batteries.

  • Wheels Size:
The standard hoverboard wheel has a diameter of 6.5 inches, which is ideal for a novice to grip. Eight or even ten-inch wheels are recommended for riding on more difficult surfaces such as hilly terrains or grassy areas.

Although these are useful on rough surfaces, you should keep in mind that they are difficult to ride indoors. Choose the six-inch wheel for riding on flat surfaces or learning to ride.

  • Safety:
Since we care about you and your family, we only listed UL-certified products in our post. It is an American standard that requires top-quality electric scooters to pass a series of tests before receiving UL certification.

To be honest, the earlier hoverboards caught fire because they were poorly made and of poor quality. However, they are now made with high-quality materials and are awarded the certification after passing the exams.

  • Battery:
The hoverboard’s performance is primarily determined by the battery used. Since lithium-ion batteries are extremely unstable, even minor manufacturing flaws can result in dangerous consequences such as fire and crashes.

Then you might be wondering how to choose one with the right battery. When purchasing an electric scooter, make certain that the battery is approved and checked.

Conclusion:

With its UL certifications, Sentry-Shield battery security, Safe Stop software, and BMS system, the Swagtron T1 Pro hoverboard prioritizes safety. It’s a great choice for all types of riders, including kids (and adults)  who are just learning to ride, thanks to the learning and normal riding modes. For the price, it also has a respectable 11-mile range and an 8-mph top speed, but it lacks Bluetooth. Overall, The Swagtron T1 Pro is one of the best hoverboards for beginners and those who don’t want to spend a lot of money on their riding experience. It’s a good place to get started.
